Opal Valley Punishment Logging & Guidelines
This guide explains the process for logging punishments and the appropriate actions for various rule violations. Properly documenting each incident helps maintain fairness and clarity within the moderation team. Below is a step-by-step example of how to log a punishment.
Important: Please note: Higher severity punishments, such as long bans or permanent bans, should only be issued by Admins or the Owner. These actions require review and approval from these roles before being executed to ensure fairness and proper judgment.
Logging a Punishment
- IGN: The in-game name of the player involved.
- Staff Member: Your name or username.
- Rule broken: Brief description or statement of the rule broken.
- Punishment Given: Type of punishment (mute, kick, ban, etc.) and the command used,
e.g.,
/mute MrsFox 15m Excessive Swearing. - Evidence: Attach or describe any supporting evidence (screenshots, chat logs, videos).
